Objective:

UNCDF’s Inclusive Digital Economy Programme intends to develop a global programme focused on climate disaster risk financing and adaptation for low-income clients in LDCs and other emerging countries.

Interventions:

Worked with UNCDF’s Pacific regional team to develop the design of the programme taking into account pillars such as the development of micro-level parametric insurance products, policy and regulation for micro-insurance and climate disaster risk insurance, collaboration with other donors and funding agencies engaged in climate financing, institutional development, and capacity building and literacy of clients.
Used research tools like a theory of change and a results-based framework to design the programme.

Outcome:

A global Programme Strategy focused on CDRFA.
