Following the completion of the Pacific Financial Inclusion Programme (PFIP) of the UNCDF in 2020, the country office of UNCDF in PNG was tasked to develop its country strategy as distinct from the regional strategy for other Pacific Island Countries (PICs). FinValue was responsible for the development of the strategy to define UNCDF’s programs under three workstreams: digital economies, investments, and local development finance. The project also involved developing the Inclusive Digital Economies Accelerator (IDEA) Program which is expected to be the flagship program of the country’s strategy.
